Analysis of Module Needs as Chemical Teaching Materials on Colloidal Subjects in SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan

The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs teachers and students on use modules as colloidal teaching materials at SMAN 1 Tembilahan. This type research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Collecting data using interview sheets questionnaires. subjects were three ten class XII IPA 3 Based results questionnaire given, 100% have used that are in accordance 2013 curriculum. As many 67% experience limited handbooks, both terms completeness materials, explanation techniques, examples applying concepts everyday life. For other (outside school handbooks), only 33% them while rest had not materials.
